Patio door Project Scope
The scope of a typical patio door install listed here, are items that fall outside the basic scope of the package install
The existing door outside trim must be able to be removed without the siding being removed & disturbed:
Existing door should be the same size as package door or within tolerance for installation of 1"
Outside exterior of the home must be accessible within the scope of normal access, not second or third story.
Interior jamb trims should be reusable or work with the jamb & trims included with your package. If wide trims and fillers are need to retrofit existing opening,a wide trim kit may be required.
Flooring areas in front of the patio door should be in good repair, not heavy water damaged, or require structural, plywood, or framing re-work.
Soffits above the outside door should not encumber the top of door stock trims.
Deck or patio area at bottom of door threshold should not encumber the door installation, or require deck boards or patio block to be moved to allow nail fins to be sealed.
Haul away of existing unit may not be included for certain packages without additional charge
Longer distances to project site may incur an additional fuel service charge , or if two man crew is required to complete the install a small fuel charge will be added.
