How Our Custom Installation Prices Work
Hi, this is Scott again,
Window installations are not all the same, just like all windows are not the same. So I will break down how we come up with our Custom Installation Prices for you here.
Before I come out to measure and estimate your project, here is some helpful information for the home owner to read.
What is a Custom Installation?
All custom installation pricing is calculated after the initial free measure.
The "custom window install" requires more work to be done then the "Advantage Install".
This may include additional assembly of the windows or doors.
This happens with special size or over sized items or high end products that need more installation work done.
The Custom Install will Include all types of special work or repair needing to be done on the out side and interior of your home to complete the install.
It may require siding and roof work and scaffolding.
Your Home may need other work done to accommodate the new window like siding removal and replacement, special jambs or trims, soffits and fascia to be made.
Some patio doors need flooring repairs to the water damaged areas.
Over all Custom sizes or New construction install cost more and take more time and material.
So if your windows or doors require something other than the typical installation then you'll see a custom charge on your estimate. We have worked to include most of these in an "Advantage price" for most types of windows doors and patio doors. But you may still fall out side that scope of basic installation work and so, it will be a "Custom Installation charge."
Think your project is typical ? Then see our "Advantage price" for prepriced installations.
Think you may have a bit more complicated project, then your on the right page.. Read on...

Replacement windows are typically *priced by the total united inches. so a price range cost average can be set by the installer
Renewal or extraction type installation _
Fits the new window into the out side rough opening , completely replacing all exterior trims and jamb portions. Complete saves the interior of the window, mating the new window to the portion of the interior jamb and trims. This works well with certain applications and allows for a cost savings to you over a full new installation, The money you save is from the interior salvage of the interior trims and jambs. It is a better install and I like the complete new out side look to the windows and home that this type of install provides.
