Pre existing condition Project Scope:
The scope of a typical Window install listed here, are items that fall outside the basic scope of the cost advantage package install
Egress window must be of a same size and meet all current code requirements
The existing Windows outside trim must be able to be removed without the siding being removed & disturbed and be in non rotted condition:
Existing Window should be the same size as new or within tolerance for installation of less than 1"
Outside exterior of the home must be accessible within the scope of normal access, not requireing ladders or scaffolding_ as in second or third story.
Interior jamb /stop trims should be reusable or work with the jamb & trims included with your package. If wide trims and fillers are need to retrofit existing opening, a wide trim kit may be required.
Flooring and wall areas in front of the window should be in good repair, not heavy water damaged, or require structural, plywood, or framing re-work.
Soffits above the outside window should not encumber the top of window stock brick molding trims.
LANDING , Deck or patio area at bottom of window sill should not encumber the window installation, or require deck boards, patio block or earth to be moved to allow nail fins to be sealed.
Haul away of existing old removed units may not be included for certain packages without additional charge
Longer distances to project site may incur an additional fuel service charge , or if two man crew is required to complete the install a small fuel charge will be added.
